Tulipamwe [ Workshop ]
Tulipamwe International Artists’ Workshop was established in 1994 by a Working Group of artists from Namibia: Jo Rogge, Joseph Madesia, and Dasunye Shikongo. It was the first of long line of workshops that have taken place on farms and game lodges in Namibia. Over 200 artists have participated in Tulipamwe workshops. Tulipamwe also organises community workshops.
Workshop open days and exhibitions, some of which are National Gallery in Windhoek, have helped develop an audience for contemporary art in Namibia.
