Aftershave [ Workshop ]
Aftershave Workshops have taken place at the Museum of Traditional Nigerian Architecture (MOTNA) in Jos, north-eastern Nigeria, and at Maraba Pottery near Kaduna. Aftershave was named after Shave Workshop, which Jacob Jari and Tony Okpe attended in 1997 in Somerset, England.
The main objective of Aftershave was to bring artists from diverse backgrounds together to share personal and cultural experiences. The workshops have gained considerable national press and television attention and stimulated critical debate in Nigeria.
